| Bah humbug!! What's the worst holiday gift you got this year? | | Ok, the holidays are NOT about the gifts, it's the thought that counts . . . yada yada. But you gotta admit, sometimes you unwrap that one gift and think what the heck was this person thinking to give this to you? This year, I'd have to say my worst gift was a bathrobe/slipper set from my mother in law. What's so bad about that? It's a one size fits all, so the robe and the slippers are way too big for a petite person like me. Plus, she already gave the same gift to me 5 years ago! Oy! I don't even use bathrobes!!! | Holiday Gift Cards | | I heard John Tesh talking on the radio about holiday shopping tips. He said that if you buy someone a gift card, have them use it right away because many more sotres are going out of business in the near future. He suggested to buy Mall gift cards, or Visa tpye that can be used in many locations, rather than a store specific one to minimize the risk. Any thoughts? | |

| does your holiday gift list complete? | | did you finish buying all you gifts for Christmas or still not started yet? i know everyone has their own gift list and maybe some of you already completed the Christmas shopping this time.Mine has not started yet since i'm still waiting for my bonus if ever there is any. (i hope) and of course my December salary. i plan to buy my family simple gifts to open on Christmas eve, specially my nieces and nephew.anyway i won't buy a lot this season since i still have alot of bills to pay and a lot to purchase for our house. perhaps few things like clothes and toys for them and some clothes for my parents.how about you, did you finish your Christmas shopping already?

| What Was Your Favorite Christmas Present or Holiday Gift? | | If you don't celebrate Christmas, please feel free to share your favorite holiday gifts. This year I got many nice things -- mostly chocolate lol! -- but I think my favorite thing was a jar of maraschino cherries.The reason I loved the gift was that my sister got it for me. We remember so many happy Christmasses together, and every year I had a little jar of maraschino cherries in my stocking. I got all misty-eyed -- imagine getting all sentimental over a jar of Safeway cherries! (Well, and it was a big one too!)Think of all the red dye #5 I have received in my lifetime. | |
